Expertise

Biology

Our research group focuses on several key aspects of plant and ecosystem ecology, environmental monitoring and assessment, and the ENM approach. Part of our research involves assessing species diversity, richness, and threat assessment in various forest types of the Himalayas. We achieve this by studying key ecological attributes, namely canopy properties, litter dynamics, biomass and carbon dynamics, soil properties, and enzyme relationships, which provide necessary conservation implications.
